12 and the lamb

Last week, Addy drew a picture of a lamb & wrote '12 and the lamb' on it and then she taped it to my bedroom door. Later that day at school, she drew the same thing and glued it to the classroom door. (Lol, yes, they let her glue stuff to the door at school because she runs stuff up there!) So I asked her what this meant. It took me a few minutes, but I finally figured out she meant. L is the 12th letter of the alphabet and lamb starts with L! Oh wow, Addy is one SMART little girl! (As if we didn't already know that, right!) She never ceases to amaze me!

Then I started asking her numbers 1-26 out of order & she can tell me what every number each letter corresponds to. So I decided to make some little word games for her & she aced them with no problem! She didn't have to look at a key or anything. Just QUICKLY decoded it!

And she's also been drawing these pictures that we're hanging all around the kitchen bar & island. I'm not sure what "No and the you" means... but that was the first one she drew. And for some reason she never drew 1??? Anyway... Here are her pictures...Enjoy!

This is what she's drawn so far. I'm sure in the next couple of days though she'll complete the alphabet. Oh & yes, she wrote & spelled all those words all by herself. Pretty impressive for a 5 year old, don't you think!
